 Junior Group Holds Jewelry Sale During Austintown Store Grand Opening Junior Group of Goodwill members sold jewelry on Saturday, April 10 during the three-day grand opening celebration of the Austintown Goodwill store. The Junior Group sold jewelry that was left over from the jewelry sale during the Auction and Gala Party in February. The ladies had several tables set up in the front of the store and also on the sidewalk outside of the store. By the end of the day, the Junior Group had generated over $1,800 in sales to benefit Goodwill. The ladies decided to sell jewelry during the grand opening celebration when the Saturday portion of the Goodwill Antique and Collectible Auction, where they had originally planned to sell the jewelry, was postponed and moved to another location. The jewelry sale at the store went over so well with the customers that the volunteer group of ladies are considering holding another one in the future. [ return to home page ] |
