What Can I Donate?

The revenue generated through the sale of gently used donated goods, funds job training, and job placement services for local people in need.

 

Thanks to your generous donations, we’ll help thousands of people right here in Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania improve their lives.

Items We Need Most

  • Clothing

  • Shoes

  • Furniture

  • Linens

  • Jewelry

  • Toys

  • Books and DVDs

  • ​Accessories like purses and belts

  • Housewares

    • Small appliances like toasters, blenders, etc.

    • Silverware + Utensils

    • Household goods: pots, dishes, home décor, etc.

Items we cannot accept

We’re grateful for every donation, but there are certain items we’re unable to accept. Please refrain from leaving these items with us, as we must cover the cost of disposing of them properly.

No mattresses/box springs, including waterbed mattresses and waterbed frames

No automotive hazardous waste such as tires, lead acid batteries, additives, gasoline, oils, antifreeze, etc.

​

No firearms or explosive materials.

​

No household chemical products such as pesticides, paint, paint thinner, drain cleaner, and other environmentally-unfriendly waste products.
